Wine 101 Class

Club Braman members arrived at Virginia Philip Wine, Spirits, & Academy ready to immerse themselves in various wines. Members were taught the ways of a sommelier with having to slowly mull over every detail about the wines that were presented to them. Virginia pointed out to the class that one could simply smell and taste a wine and know exactly where a wine was made and what different processes might have been taken.

The wine list included William Fevre “Champs Royaux” Chablis, Burgundy, France, 2017; Rochioli Chardonnay, Russian River Valley Sonoma County, California, 2015; Torre de Ona, Reserva, Rioja, Spain, 2012; Leviathan, Red Wine, California, 2014.
