Italian Job Movie, BBQ & Rally

33 MINIs and over 150 people participated in the first combo MINI Club of South Florida and Club Braman event.

We watched the 2003 remake of the heist movie “The Italian Job” then moved outside for a tasty BBQ lunch and a little friendly competition. MINI owners re-enacted the heist scene from the movie by driving a short course that showed off MINI’s handling, stopping to load 3 gold bricks into their car, continuing on to the gold drop-off point and sprinting to the finish after delivering the gold.

Lots of varieties of MINI’s competed…from classic Austin MINI’s to every variation of today’s MINI from Cooper to Clubman, Countryman, JCWs and convertibles.
