Croquet

We finally got a chance to bring Club Braman back to the National Croquet Center (NCC) for an evening of fun in the clubhouse and on the fields.

We started with each guest enjoying a complimentary wine or beer and visiting in the clubhouse. There are a number of display cases to peruse in the clubhouse showing off the history of croquet in South Florida. Did you know that the NCC hosts national and international croquet tournaments along with the local league play?!

The amazing chefs and staff of Sandy James Fine Foods & Productions are the house purveyors of food and beverage and they brought around platter after platter of tasty hors d’oeuvres through out the evening.

Around 7pm the entire group moved out to the fields for some basic instruction from the NCC staff followed by some spirited games of croquet.

The Caribbean – Colonial style clubhouse restaurant is open to the public for lunch a few days each week. Call to find out the days and times, as it changes seasonally.
